Bottle Tree Park

Having come across a website where I found out about the Bottle Tree Park, the Boy and I decided to explore it during New Year's Day itself. With the long journey up North (more so for him), it was fate that we bumped into each other on the train, savouring more time spent with each other.

But finally, we managed to make our way to Bottle Tree Park.

I was actually surprised by the size of the park, as I had expected it to be bigger. Nonetheless, despite its size, it is actually a pretty serene place!

And with it being a small park, we only spotted one Bottle Tree...

Ta-dah!!

They even had Couple Swan Paddling! I thought it might be quite a cool thing to paddle around the small pond with him, but it only operates from 5pm onwards.

Anyway, unlucky as it may seems, while we were on our way there, the skies looked overcast. Praying hard that it would not rain, our prayers were not answered as it did start to pour after we reached the park. Hence, we had to hide ourselves under a hut. That's where we got creative, and started to take pictures to pass the time.

Plus more photos after the rain stopped. Thankfully, it wasn't too long a wait =)

And before we end off, here's moo-moo Raphel with the cows.

Next stop, perhaps Bottle Tree Village?? =)
