Night at the Museum

We were awed by a sensational spectacle of lights as we chanced upon the National Museum during Singapore's first ever Night Festival. And thankfully, Raphel brought along his P&S camera, which allowed me to go into a shutterbug mode =)

But here's me sharing with you my favourite motif of the night

As well as some goofing around with a play of shadows =)

'Sunny' Sentosa

It was a bright and sunny morning where my friends and I were heading down to the southern island of Singapore - Sentosa, for a lovely game of beach volleyball. Nahele was kind enough to accompany me. Knowing that she wanted to play sport games for a very long time, this would be her chance =) Upon reaching there, she seemed really excited on getting her hands on the ball. Haha, even more eager to start a game than us. It was as though she had been deprived of playing ball games since young =P However, things didn't go our way, as we found ourselves resting in the shed most of the time due to weather changes..... Nevertheless, we still had loads of fun!

A pic of us on the lovely island! =D

(P.S. We want to be Pocahontas and not Snow White!!)

Singapore Flyer

It was an extremely rough day for me at work, that I felt utterly miserable, and was simply overwhelmed by emotions. When the boy knew about it, he told me to get ready after having my dinner at home, and whisk me off in a cab to an unknown destination (of course knowing that we had to take a cab, I did not spare him from some nagging).

I guess somehow I got my 'revenge', as his poor secret was let out of the bag by none other than the cab driver! The latter himself was unsure how to get there, that he had to ask Raphel a few times to confirm the place =)

But as much as it was his plan to bring me there to have a look of the place, it was an impromptu decision on our part to take the ride itself. And as we subsequently walked ourselves through a maze to get to the flyer itself, we were greeted by a really lovely surprise.

We had a container all to ourselves!!

Behold, our blue-y container =)

Lovely scenes atop the Singapore Flyer

And us, enjoying each other's company

Thank you Raphel for the lovely surprise =)
