Of Sweetness

The Boy made his way down to Plaza Singapura yesterday to support me. Yes, poor me was down for an event on Friday and Saturday for the whole day...

So that's us, chatting for a short while before he left for his appointment while I went back to work. Felt as if it's been a long time since we last met, so it was really nice to see him, even though it was for a quick moment.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

PS: The above picture was taken by my 'stalker' of a colleague =)

Around the Museum

One thing is for sure, I'm actually falling in love with the architecture of the National Museum. So much so that I would like it to be one of the venues for my wedding photo shoot! =D

Raphel's Hatch Day 08

This was an exceptional year for me. For that, I celebrated my birthday with my beloved girl, Nahele. I truly appreciated the fact that she planned my birthday solely on her own, be it the gifts or coming up with ideas on how to spend the time with me during my birthday. It was really sweet... A big thanks to you my dear Girl =D

Guess where we went to?

Sentosa Siloso Beach Resort's Rooftop Garden Suite!

The interior of the Suite!!

The stairways to the Open Roof Top

I would strongly recommend this to those who would love to spend some time with their love ones in a quiet and tranquil place. They have a private Jacuzzi on the rooftop over-looking Siloso Beach and a Asian Chic styled bed!! Totally cool! =P

The view overlooking Siloso Beach

Our private Jacuzzi as well as our deck chairs.

It was really nice to get away for just a short chilling out session, even though time passes quickly. It was a nice relaxing and recharging moment for me. Till then, I shall wait for our next get away =)

A remake of Mr and Mrs Smith =D

The Vagina Monologues

Since Raphel accompanied me to an all-boys play, I thought it's only right that he went to an all-girls play this time round. This time around, we went to catch The Vagina Monologues, held at the Drama Centre at the National Library.

It's interesting to know how some women choose to believe that there are other nice things in between their legs as they feel that their vagina are ugly. It's also interesting that some of them don't even like to mention the V word, but calling it by many other names like coochie-snotcher, peewee etc.

Then there was this story of how a husband strayed because his wife decided not to shave after her one bad experience with shaving. She believed that hair is there for a reason, which does make one wonder and ponder about it. Can't help but find it interesting too, apart from her adorable and comical Indian accent =)

Other notable events are a video clip of genital mutilation, childbirth, a real-life sensuous pole dance, actresses dressed in pinafores throwing out free sanitary pads, a transsexual who tried really hard to assume her new identity as a woman, hoping that others would accept her too, like her late boyfriend who died because others did not want him to be with her, and a scene of hilarious moans of different genres.

In summary, the play features a wide array of topics, ranging from shaving, to abuse, genital mutilation, transsexuals and lesbianisms, first periods and childbirth. You can't get any better of female topics than this =)

Pump Room Celebrations

Us and my tired face at the Pump Room where we indulged in food, booze and a live band performance.

Singapore Motor Show 08

Twice in a row, twice in 2 weeks was what we did as we went to car shows!!

Me, an aficionado of fast cars, just can't get enough of the exotic cars, not forgetting the chance to snap away on the cars (and show girls of course =p) This time round, the coolest hot machine would have to be the Nissan GTR and the Honda S2000. Oh oh, not forgetting the F1 car on display and the preview of the first underwater car!!

Preview of the first ever underwater car!

My favourite GTRs!!

Honda S2000 Convertible

As compared to the previous motor shows, the Singapore Motor Show 08 was quite empty; and spacious, of which I'm quite thankful for as we did not have to squeeze or mingle with the crowd. I would say it was quite nicely planned except the entrance to the exhibition, which was like a maze!!

But yea, poor Nahele was yet again being dragged to another car show by me... Guess she must be experiencing phobia of visiting such events pretty soon! =P Nonetheless, she got another chance to play with my "bulky" camera. Haha... She's addicted!!

Overall, we had another good time together, although she was just following me throughout the day. She even claimed that she looked better than some of the models there! =D

Nahele' favourite car of the event, the Nissan Z4.

Nahele's playworks =)

The little "sheep"

Of which I present to you, last but not least, the act cute Nahele, with the cute yellow bike!!

Tah Da... Haha =D
