Year 2
March is the month of our Anniversary, as it is my turn this year to plan for our second year together. This year, I decided to enjoy a night out with him, as we made our way to Amara Sanctuary Spa at Sentosa to celebrate our special day.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with 'bad' news, as our room was not available, even though we were there on time for their check-in time. Fortunately, I booked the package which gave us complimentary tickets to Underwater World. Since the Boy claimed that he hasn't been there before/it was an extremely long time since he went, I thought why not?
Besides, I haven't been there for a long time myself too!
Underwater World has not changed much, except for its external where it has a Stingray Enclosure now. Otherwise, it is still the same, still as small. We missed the Dolphin Show though, as we had no idea what time the performance was. But then, it didn't matter, for it drew the crowd away, and allowed us to have more space for photos together =)
When we ended, thankfully our room was finally ready, as we checked in, unpacked, and exchanged gifts. Curious about what we gave to each other? Ha, it's a secret =)
As the day was still young, we decided to explore the place.
A day and night view of their rooftop outdoor pool, of which we got to enjoy the next morning.
We then made our way to Siloso Beach, where we finally decided to try out the Luge.
Reviews? It was absolutely fun!! While it's shortfall was that the track was a little too short, it was still pretty fast, and we had a ball of a time navigating ourselves along the tracks and trying to beat each other in a little race. No prize for guessing who won =P
And what made the event all the more better was the impromptu picture of us above. Little did we know that his little finger pressed on the shutter button before he said 'cheese' =D Look at my chipmunk face!!!
After having our dinner at Vivocity, we headed back to Sentosa where we enjoyed the night walk around the place.
And before you know it, our celebration at Sentosa has ended... But as much as it was a pretty short celebration, there's actually more planned out for the next day =)
