Road Trip: Marina Barrage & A Sneak Peak of Rochester Park

Raphel decided to rent a car during this festive period. And this gave us the ability to travel around Singapore, especially to the more inaccessible areas. First up: Marina Barrage.

Unfortunately, we got a little lost due to some miscommunication. But thankfully, due to Raphel's road instinct, we finally got back on track. And seriously, one is not able to get to Marina Barrage without a car, especially at night when you would love to see its night lights and enjoy the lovely breeze. Here's sharing what I got with my puny P&S.

The fountain and its lights.

Here's its architectural curves. My fav being the top left picture.

And a view from the top.

And finally, the ever classic view of the flyer from Marina Barrage.

Hopefully Raphel will be able to showcase his better quality pictures from his DSLR soon too =)

Wanting to make full use of the night, Raphel decided to head to Rochester Park as well, before heading off for prata supper. And with us not willing to pay to enter, we just took a walk around the restaurants and bars, before settling for a picture.

Perhaps one day, we'll really make our way into the bars/restaurants for a nice chill-out session =)
