Japanese Garden

Throughout my entire life, I've never been to the Japanese Garden. So, the 'Mountain Tortoise' me decided that this can no longer continue, as I decided that it's time for me to make a trip down. And with Raphel staying so close to the two gardens, he gleefully accompanied me.

After a very long and painful walk to the Japanese Garden (no thanks to my new ballet shoes), we finally made it!! While the entrance boasts nothing except for a white pebble path and some greens, the inside had a more picturesque view, with the pond and its bridges.

Because of the 'ulu-ness' of its venue, there weren't many people there except for avid bird photographers and portraiture photographers. Hence, we were treated to a nice and peaceful walk, much to our delight. (In case anyone does not know what does 'ulu' means, it is 'inaccessible' in Malay, I think)

Anyway, to commemorate my first time there, we definitely took pictures of ourselves at the venue.

And I guess what's most memorable about these photos was that due to low people traffic in the park, we had to take pictures by placing the camera on whatever we can find. The top picture was taken while placing the camera on a tree, the bottom was on a rock. So during these times, we were either worried if the camera would fall off the tree, or whether or not we could run back in time to our place due to the vast distance we had to cover.

A memorable time indeed! (Though I'm sure this will not be our one and only visit to the Japanese Garden)... =)
