RSAF Open House
Being the military-crazed person that I am, I made Raphel head to the RSAF Open House with me. And boy was I excited to see all the different fighter planes and choppers =)
Anyway, we caught the aerial display, as we watched scenes of the fighter planes taking off, a chinook carrying an army vehicle, cross fires, and an array of flying air crafts.

And then, there is the lucky draw, which gave us a chance to board the C130 for a flight around Singapore! We were amazingly lucky, as I managed to drop the coupon in after frantically searching for a pen, my pen being 'stolen' by another idiotic participant, searching for another pen, and filling up our details with just 20 seconds to go!
That's our flight, the C130. Raphel was truly amazed at my luck. He couldn't help 'poking fun' at me, and kept saying that he should always bring me out for such events in future, as all his life while attending open house or carnivals, he has never won a prize! =D
So that's us enjoying the full air-conditioned plane. It's really amazing, as their air-conditioning was way better than any of the commercial planes like SIA. There even came a point in time when I felt cold!
And here's us with one of a friendly air crew. It's quite interesting as I pointed out to Raphel that the men of the air force were really really polite and nice! I did not remember having such services when I attended other open house/carnivals, although Raphel replied that it is their job. But then again, he himself was amazed at their greetings, as on more than one occasion, he looked at me with great amazement when one of the air crew/open house ambassadors greeted him with a cheery 'good morning', 'have a nice day', or 'have fun', haha =D
Anyway, before we left, we had to take a picture with the logo of the day.
As well as goofed around with the exhibits =)
